Highland Resort Hotel & Spa is frequently praised for its spacious rooms, some boasting spectacular views of Mount Fuji. Many guests find the location convenient, especially with its proximity to the bus stop and direct access to Fuji Q Highland amusement park; plus, the free shuttle to nearby stations is a great perk. The buffet breakfast with a view is also a highlight for many, though some have mentioned that the blinds in rooms on certain floors could be bigger to block out the morning light.

overpriced breakfast inconvenient location
the 12 pm check out was acceptable, it gave me time to pack without stress.
The breakfast was overpriced, i expected more for the cost. also, the staff wouldn't let me take a small croissant back to my room. They would rather throw it out. the location isn't great, it's a 10-minute walk to nearby stores.

amazing stay with very nice fuji views

direct access lovely view shuttle bus easy travel
the hotel had direct access to fuji-q amusement park. my superior twin room on a higher floor had a lovely mountain view. i could see mt. fuji right from my room. the free shuttle bus made travel to kawaguchiko station easy.
the front desk staff wasn't overly friendly. it was a very minor issue.

decent stay with some disappointments

the staff spoke english well and that helped me a lot with communication.
My fuji view room had a completely foggy window for my whole stay. I could not see the mountain at all. i sent videos and photos to the hotel, but they did not seem concerned about how my christmas holiday was affected.
